Okinawa Tour -- Shuri castle

Finally i'm doing something with regards to travel photography. And serve a purpose in making this blog a photo blog hahaha..

here i go..

Shuri castle. This is the rebuilt version of the original ones. The original ones was destroyed during WWII during the Battle of Okinawa. I wanted to take pictures of the what's in the castle but no photography is allowed. Okinawa's culture is very close to Chinese. They have close links with main land china in the era of the Kings and emperors haha..  Posted by Hello

This is one of the forever friendly guides you can find all around Okinawa's theme parks and attraction spots. This guide works in Shuri castle, and he gladly poses for pictures without any one of us asking. How i hope local Singaporean Guides in sentosa etc is as friendly..  Posted by Hello

This is one of the gate for the castle. Note that the wordings of this gates is purely in chinese not Japanese. Posted by Hello

This is the pictorial lay out of shuri castle. the destroyed portion.  Posted by Hello

This is traditional art work of the castle. The design is pretty much like chinese palace architect. Posted by Hello

This is the royal sessions conducted by the Kings. Very china like but only thing is that the size is much smaller than what we sees on TVs Posted by Hello
