Sofitel Palm Resort

Okie okie. I have my first holiday in 2 years with my baby. went to stay over in sofitel palm resort johor. The room was great. and thats all.

Facilities wise, i would have failed them terribly if there was any panel of judges to grade the facilities. only facilities there working was the pool. the bowling alley not impressed. two pool tables out of order. food not that great. expensive too. imagine a plate of fruits 16 small pieces in all watermelon, pine apple and papaya cost me RM 9.00. and the main problem is that they are not sweet at all.

The wireless internet there was a disaster. I went to the staff and they keep telling me its due to the earth quake in Taiwan. I wasn't even commenting about the speed of access. I can't access to their net work at all!! and i paid RM 33 for a pre paid card that allows me to surf the net work there. Only manage to surf like 10 mins and things starts going cranky.

I would definately enjoy their golf facilities if i play golf. too bad i don't. Like i say, the rooms' worth it. the rest offered with the room kills the name.

All in all, I spent only SGD150 on food and other stuff. the room (SGD 160 a night) is claimable thus not much complaint. haha. not so good holiday with my baby. considering it being our first time out of the country its a disaster!!
