UNSW SAGA

I was shock when i read the news yesterday. Like the others, I do felt the anger with the students. I felt that UNSW needs to spend more time in Singapore to allow the public's view to change. SMU didn't succeed on the first day. Being the third (after SMU and UNISIM), it simply meant that they need to put in more effort and time to gain more student's entry.

Its might be a compounded issue here. Personally, one possible problem for the small enrollment size is the location. Changi is really one end of the country. thats a big problem for 50% of the singapore population. UNSW please relook into occupying a new premises!

Why can't singapore have lowest bid?

Okie So they started of with internet auctions. Now they have Lowest Unique Bid. I so hated it when i realised that i'm not in united states upon seeing this blog. I so wanted a Nintendo WII. Imagine you can get it at 190 cents? whoever put up the lowest bid wins it at the bidded amount. among the rest of the items up for bids, i saw BMW 3 series!!

why do i want a WII so much? because my Xbox is spoilted!! i want a replacement and i thought WII is cool with the inbuilt functions. Humm ... why can't singapore have something like this? nothing win with lowest bid here in Singapore. Disappointment.

My recent Blog readership

Humm this is the thing about blogger and the community. How does xia xue gets 10k a month readership a month? I guess we need to stir up controversy to generate readership. I learnt it the hard way i guess..

The above figure shows the absolute unique visitors number to my site for the last 4 days since i add a tracker from google analytics. The post that cause by that controversy statement was posted about 10 days ago and the visitor number rose from 200 to 1.2k as of today. Thats how xiaxue gets her viewership. Singaporeans are only interested in people's arguement. Just like the typical Joo chiat neighbour case. Headlines for weeks?

The jump in readership for my blog jumped 8 times from the daily 5 to now average 40. I'm surprised.
