Tribute to Our Brothers who died on Duty

Today, the third Victim of The May 11Taiwan Aircraft accident die. SAF lost another dedicated serviceman. The country lost a son. It was never easy for people of the organization when a man-in-green dies during training. I personally lost 2 friends in my first year of service. A young officer attended 2 funerals during his first year of officership. I cried. Every servicemen who died actually meant a lot to anyone of us whether regular or NSF. One of them were my course mate whom sweat, bleed and cried with me. The other was a colleague whom I exchanged greetings with every working day. Its 6 years since my days as a young officer. Without fail, a minute a day was dedicated to the two whom I called friend and brother. Today, join me to grief for the death of the 3rd of the 4 injured servicemen of the plane crash, Lance Corporal Chow Han Min Calvin, with minute of silence. And let us pray for the 4th to recover from his injury.
