Are we all going into virtual World?

So second life is in the news again. haha... I can't really see ourselves being so involved with something so virtual and yet so real. So what's gonna happen in the future world? We shop in virtual mall and yet to have our purchases shipped to us from a warehouse? haha... That virtual mall could have been a 10storey house. but because of Second Life, the ware house would be just a one room office as a middleman linking the virtual world to outsourced supermarts thats 100 times bigger than walmart..

And soon we will see a police station worth of cyber police just responsible for patrolling the Second Life world. Maybe Cyber interpol? with cyber arrest warrants. So i can just hack into some account, produce a fake arrest warrants and then arrest someone which will also result in real life world. cause the most recent lines from Second Life is "Second Life Do Crime , Real Life Do Time"

Its how our world's gonna be as we all progress. Its sad..

So the question comes: Why to I sign up with adverlets.com?
My reasons:

1. The first reason why i signed up with Adverlets is because my girlfriend recommended it to me. I signed up for almost anything she tells me its nice.

2. I guess unlike payperpost, adverlets caters for our regions. something that's a first.

Three reasons why tomorrow.sg should stop anon comments

Okie, I'm blogging to appeal to the gang at Tomorrow.sg to stop allowing anonymous readers to comment on Tomorrow.sg . I'm appealing with 3 reason for the editors considerations:

1. Its true that there is a number of anonymous readers who does give constructive comments, but compare it with the number of anonymous flamming that occurs in Tomorrow.sg, is this first number still significant?

2. Does removing the anonymous options in posting comments affects readership to tomorrow.sg? Nope. I don't think it does.

3. In the name of free speech, I think it comes with an identity behind that speech. Recently, I think we have came across a case that reporter risked going into jail trying to protect her "source"? If none of the tomorrow.sg editors are willing to risk this, then anonymous comments must not be allowed. Because the earlier mentioned case is a precedence that in the eye of the law, the court has the right to demand disclosure.

Start earning your first 10 dollars thru blogging in Singapore? - Part 1

Okie I think I know what i want to concentrate on apart from writing about me and my life here. I'm starting a series of write up on How to start earning your first 10 dollars thru blogging? It really caters to Singaporeans, as compared to other sites thats around with headers like "Millions with 7 dollars start up" which is more singaporean style.

Seriously, there isn't any free lunch in the world. I've been seen quite a fair bit of things that promises easy money i.e. MLM, swisscash investment, forex exchange and lots more.By saying this, I'm not scrutinizing the fore mentioned with bias.

First, MLM business is lucrative in its own way. But its takes lots of convincing or hard selling to make MLM works for you. Most MLM firms wants you to bring "prospects" to talk. That is already a task. Next after the little talk, you have to convince the person that its good to join. Then, after you join, you have to spend time attending trainings provided by the companies that normally consist of "empowering talk" (brainwashing). Then you try to replicate the whole process again. So you put in time and money for something that might not work.

Next, Investment scheme like swisscash does allows you to earn money, but in an illegal way thru a system by the name of "Ponzi Scheme" you can easily put up a search in wikipedia and you will know what its all about. Can you profit out of it? Sure you can. I've seen friends making a profit out of it. Quick profit in fact. As a matter of facts, the returns is 50% interest within 4 months). But whats the risk you are talking about? we are talking about 100% risk anywhere anytime and anyhow. Due to the nature of such scheme, there is a 100% chance that the organisation will just collapse and leave you in a daze over the lost investment.

Third we have stock & forex investment. Lets all face it. Time is good in 2007, with china stock exchange bring worldwide market to an all time high. Everyone around the world wants to be part of this bullish market. But they often went in without proper education in stock market exchange. They don't understand the mechanics involved in it and all they know is "my friend says now is the time". Alot of them are employees, which meant, during the exchange hours they are busy working. And this translate to lack of monitoring of the market trend. Before they knew it, in a matter of mins, they own nothing.

In Part 1 of "How to start earning your first 10 dollars thru blogging?" We look at Lesson No. 1. No money in the world could be earned without putting in any effort for it. This is basic rule of thumb. Let us look at the two possible scenarios below:

Scenario 1:
If you don't have money, you have to put in time. Because time = money. I'm doing it now. While people promises you 100k in a month when you purchase a 7 bucks ebook, I can only promises you that you will start earning 10 bucks with reasonable amount of time put in.

Scenario 2:
If you have lots of money, chances are you wouldn't be here. 10 bucks is only 10 bucks. IF you have some money, You would have purchased quite a fair bit of ebooks over the internet and trying to find out the secrets. Only to discover that the secrets also needs you to put in time and you have already put in money to discover this.

both scenarios fit my first rule of thumb: No money in the world could be earned without putting in any effort for it.

Effort in that statement meant: Time and work. It Maybe hard work for some. It may be simple task for the others. It doesn't matter. Put in that effort and you will get your 10 bucks. (Here's my evidence )And subsequent profit after that if you continuously put in that hard work.

So can you afford this effort?
